Warm Newburgh
We are collecting items for the Newburgh Warming Station and local homeless population to help keep the Newburgh community warm this winter. We will be collecting items from January 19th to February 3rd. Items can be dropped off in the lobby.
Items Needed (Gently used/new items all sizes and gender):
- Hats
- Gloves
- Coats
- Scarves
- New Twin Fleece Blankets
- New Standard Pillows
Celebration and Chili
Join us February 10th at 5pm for a time of worship and a word from Pastor Scott Cheney. We will be having our 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off following service. Bring your best chili and appetite for a great night of community!
Leadership Pathway 101
Leadership Pathway 101 is a 12-week class on on the introduction to leadership here at Grace. It will be held on Thursdays, beginning January 31st from 7:15pm- 9:15pm in NextGen. This course is being offered at other Grace Campuses on other days too. If you would like more information or would like to sign up, please go to graceoc.com/leadership
NextGen Middle School Guys Overnight
Male students in grades 6th-8th grade are invited to the NextGen middle school guys’ overnight, February 1st at 7pm to Saturday morning at 9:30am. For more information or questions email, NextGen.NBG@graceoc.com
Semi-Annual Business Meeting at Grace Washingtonville
The Semi-Annual Business Meeting will be held on January 27th at 6pm. All are encouraged to attend. Only official members may vote. There is a snow date of February 10th at 6pm.
Quarterly Giving Statements
This past last week you should have received the last quarterly giving statement for 2018. We send these because we want you to know what God is doing through your resources. If, for some reason, you haven’t received your giving summary, please find Pastor Trabelus after services. We want to be sure you get this information.”
Financial Peace University
Financial Peace University (FPU) will help you take control of your money, plan for your future, and transform your life. This is a 10-week course that will help you take back your finances. All Grace Campuses will be offering FPU: the Newburgh Campus class will begin Wednesday, January 30th at 7pm. Stop by the table this weekend to learn more.
Women’s Bible Study
The next women’s Bible study will begin Thursday, February 7th at 7pm. They will be going through the book “Grace” by Max Lucado. You can sign up at at Info Center. There is a book purchase required for this study.
NextGen High School Retreat–The Advance
High School students are encouraged to attend the annual retreat known as “The Advance.” The registration fee is $190/person which includes transportation, lodging, meals, recreation, and study materials. Registration closes February 8th.
Each year we have students that would not be able to attend except for the generosity of sponsors. If you’d like to sponsor a student for this year’s Advance, please contact newburgh@graceoc.com
New Message Series
New message series begins February 9th called The Story of God where Pastor Jarrod will begin talking about the narrative God has woven about himself throughout scripture, from the beginning to the end. Make plans to be here and invite someone to join you for that series.
