This year we launched two more campuses, on Easter, saw more baptisms and salvations than ever before and saw our average attendance continue to rise. We celebrate these numbers, but we also realize two powerful truths.
Each of these numbers is an individual with their own story and a work of God in their own life. It is our privilege to be able to serve every person that walks through the doors each week or listens to the podcast or watches online.

Stories of god working

  • I knew I needed something more. I reached out to an old family friend who goes to church frequently. I reached out to him and simply said "I miss you, I really need something right now, and I'd like to focus on religion. Would you be open to Helping me??" and without skipping a beat he said "Of course" Him and his wife met me for service on Sunday morning. The Newburgh campus last Sunday, and immediately I was greeted with smiling faces, and made to be felt like i was home. I walked in, and listened to the music, and when I sat down and listened to Pastor Jarrod- tears streamed down my face. God knew, and he knew I came for help that day.

  • I was serving [at the Port Jervis location] on April 1st when I received the frantic phone call from my Mom telling me that my older brother had died suddenly and unexpectedly. My Grace family literally held me up. Pastor Jim's message [that] week encouraged us to "Think Eternity" was exactly what I needed, what WE needed. I shared it with my Mom, with my family, and others who I knew had experienced a recent loss. Knowing that relief from the groanings of this life and reunion with our loved ones is on the horizon is a wonderful promise, among so many others, from a loving God.

  • We decided to go to church even though I had been looking for some time and had never found a church or synagogue where I felt like I belong. It was Easter Sunday and everyone was singing “The resurrected king has resurrected me.” I cried as I realized how true that is. The next week I got ...a message [saying] our church is doing baptisms this week. The sermon includes the most beautiful description I’ve ever heard. I don’t know if you’d be interested but if you are let us know and we will meet you. We went to this amazing church. Welcome. Please fill out the card in seatback. We have a gift for you. If you’d like a bible; take it. Here it’s ok to not be ok...I was baptized by my friend and neighbor.

sacrificial giving

Grace Community Church doesn’t exist without the generous giving of people like you. This year we saw record giving as more and more people decided to partner with the ministry and support the work financially.
