Grace Port Jervis is prepping for a Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat. This event is being planned in partnership with the Port Jervis Parks & Recreation Department, as well as the City of Port Jervis. Grace Port Jervis will be overseeing the event which will serve as an amazing outreach to our community. Many families will come to enjoy the decorated vehicles, music, games, crafts and of course, candy!

Reaching out to families in the Port Jervis community continues to be one of Grace Port Jervis’ number one priorities. This event will be a safe place for families and a chance for us to show what our church is all about, as well as share the Gospel with them.

So…save the date and start planning how you are going to decorate your vehicle.

We will be collecting bags of candy each Sunday. Please bring them to the donation bin in the café. If you plan on decorating a vehicle for the event, please let us know by registering below. We would like to have 40-50 vehicles, plus the different activities. (Please note: no violent themes, horror movie themes, or inappropriate decorations/costumes.)

If you are a long-time grandparent or a brand new one, this is for you. Join us Saturday, October 29th from 9a-1p at the Port Jervis Campus. You will unlearn some things, and relearn others. Your passion for your grandkids will be even higher and you’ll go away changed. Your precious grandchildren will benefit because you listened, learned, and grew in your blessed role. Registration is $30/couple or $15/person. Seminar, materials, and lunch included.

The Leadership Orientation class is for current and future leaders at Grace.
It’s a way to build a shared culture and learn key standards, as well as equip leaders to lead ministries or teams here at Grace Community. If you lead here at Grace or you are currently serving on a team and want to step into leadership in the future, this is your next step. We’ll cover things like how we define leadership at Grace, healthy communication, casting vision, and building your team.

This class will meet on Tuesdays from 7-8pm, tentatively beginning on October 18-November 22.

Grace Washingtonville hosts a group for mothers of ALL ages which is open to all campuses and the community. The MOMs ministry meets twice a month from October through June each year. Moms get together for good food, great conversations, important discussion topics and guest speakers! This year, the format has shifted to accommodate working moms. We will now hold an AM session and a PM session each month. On the second Wednesday of each month, beginning THIS WEEK, October 12th, an AM session will be held from 9:30am to 11:30am (childcare available); on the fourth Wednesday of the month, beginning October 26th, there will be a PM session from 6:30pm to 8:30pm (no childcare available). You can register to attend both sessions or chose which best meets your schedule! Registration is open at $15 for an AM or PM session, or $30 to attend all.

Beginning this month, GraceKids will not be sending home at-home paper resources with your children. Please download the Parent Cue App today to receive all your daily/weekly resources at your fingertips. The app will provide resources and inspiration for you to share Jesus with your children all week long!
