Calling all Grace Kids! Come on out on October 31, immediately following the second service for a Fall-O-Ween Party! Bring a potluck style lunch item, dress your kiddos in NON-scary themed costumes, and enjoy some fun! Oh, and bring a candy gathering container too!

***NEEDED: Candy donations!*** Please drop off in the office at church!

Trunk-or-Treat will be hosted by our Washingtonville campus on October 31st from 5pm to 7pm, with a rain date of November 1st from 6pm to 8pm. This event is open to the community and we expect to have a huge turnout as we have in the past! To ensure things run smoothly, please register that you are joining us that evening by signing up one adult in the family and indicating how many in your group: graceoc.com/events

What we need:

We need our Grace family to decorate your trunk! Think of a fun (non-scary) theme, decorate your vehicle, and hand out candy to the “trunk or treaters” from the neighborhood! Once you run out of candy to give, we will re-fill your trunk until the event is over! You’ll be entered in a contest too!! Register your vehicle at graceoc.com/trunks

We also need our Grace family to donate candy! Everyone knows our Trunk or Treat has the best candy, and LOTS of it is needed. If you can help by filling up the trunk in the lobby of our Washingtonville Campus – this will help make Trunk-or-Treat a success!

It’s that time of year again! If you are able to donate non perishable items that will be placed in meal baskets for some families from the local schools, please see the list below and bring items by Sunday, November 14th. There is a large galvanized bin in the lobby you can place items in.

ALSO…Come join us Friday, November 19th at 6:30 pm as we pack the meals to be distributed and Saturday, November 20th as we welcome the recipients to our campus to pick up their meals and share a meal with them that day! (ALL are welcome. There is an extra need of anyone who speaks Spanish.)

Learning to Lament with Elder Larry Dauer. We all need to learn to lament, especially when we find ourselves, perhaps even right now, in the midst of the deep dark clouds of suffering, pain, loss, and even despair. Lament is a prayer in pain that leads to trust. Biblical Lament is how Christians grieve. It is also how to help hurting people. Join us and invite others as together we Learn to Lament for His glory and our joy! Saturday, November 6th, 8:15 to 12:30p, Newburgh Worship Center.

Men’s morning – November 13th, 8:30 am! Come on out to the campus for some breakfast and guy time!

Ladies’ Fellowship – CHANGE OF DATE….Now on Saturday, December 4th 8:30-10:30 am! Our own Laura Terpstra will be leading us in creating one of those super cute circular hand painted wood door decorations. Have you seen them? This will be so fun to create something beautiful either for yourself or to give as a gift! Bagels and beverages as well! There is a small cost of $5 to cover the materials. If this is a hardship, please don’t let that deter you from coming. We got you!

The MOMs ministry is for mothers of infants through high school students. This group will be held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month throughout the school year, from 9:30a-11:30a at the Washingtonville Campus. Your little ones are welcome to attend or be cared for in our nursery by vetted Grace volunteers. Moms will enjoy food, connection, guest speakers, and many other fun MOMs events. A one-time registration is required with at $25 registration fee for the season. (If there are financial concerns, please do not let that stop you from attending.
